Abstract

STMIK El Rahma is a tertiary institution that already uses Information Systems in data processing in several sections ranging from the academic section to the infrastructure section. However, the finance department still uses the manual method for transactions of financial receipts and financial expenditures. This resulted in processing time being ineffective and not systematic. This research was conducted using the Design Science Research and Methodology (DSRM) method, with 6 (six) stages: problem assistance, determination of solution objects/research objectives, design and development, completion, evaluation, and communication. The result of this study is the implementation of a financial information system that is integrated with academic information systems as well as reporting and evaluating college financial performance. This application can be used to display financial transaction information, financial reports, employee information, student data information, and employee attendance information.
