Abstract

The development of technology in the digital era as it is today, of course, can make it easier and help various related fields of work. One form of technology utilization is a decision support system. Sacoret ID conducts performance assessments of its employees to evaluate, motivate and verify performance improvements. There will be problems that become obstacles, namely performance appraisal is carried out subjectively, without any methods or tools to strengthen the selection of the best employee performance. In addition, there are often differences in criteria so that there is no limit to the criteria for assessment. Employee Performance Assessment Decision Support System is one of the solutions needed to overcome this problem. This research serves to solve the problems that exist in a computerized manner. The method used in making this application is the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method or also called the weighted summation. The basic concept of the SAW method is to find the sum of the values in each alternative and requires a normalization process, which then the value of the normalization results will be multiplied against the value of each criterion to get the final value. Data collection includes observation and interview methods. The system design uses Data Flow Diagrams, Entity Relationship Diagrams, Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, and normalization. In this research, the program is made using PHP and MySQL database. The results of this research have a positive impact on the company. The system can provide information on employee performance appraisals. The system is also able to provide convenience for users to manage the assessment data that has been carried out. With a decision support system for evaluating employee performance, it can provide motivation for employees to be able to further encourage enthusiasm in working in order to provide quality results.
