Abstract

There are two counseling services at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences UGM Yogyakarta, namely career counseling services and psychologist counseling services. Career counseling services are intended for services for Fisipol UGM students and alumni in the form of assistance with system design plans that will be built for planning, selecting, preparing, and solving career-related problems while psychological counseling services are services for students, alumni and Fisipol UGM employees in the form of problem-solving assistance that is being served by a counselor or a team of counselors or psychologists. Counseling services are currently served through online and offline media through predetermined operational standards by filling out the provided form, and confirmation of an appointment service and counseling implementation. The results of counseling services are currently stored digitally and have difficulty sharing counseling results with the intended party confidentially. Privacy protection through counseling services is currently still minimal because the counseling results are produced in the form of open data that anyone can view. By looking at the conditions mentioned above, it is necessary to have a Wellness Center E-Counseling plan to develop an information system that can provide academic information quickly and efficiently. The use of information technology for the management of counseling services requires a change with a new web-based computerized system which is considered more efficient. Making the "Wellness Center E-Counseling" website begins with data collection using the Xampp Server programming language, Navicat Premium and PHP. The presence of the "Wellness Center E-Counseling" is expected to provide advice and convenience for patients to carry out counseling guidance and make it easier to see the results of counseling.
